Every time we have a new menu launch (which is once a quarter!), we gather our site managers, head chefs and Head Office team together for our renowned Cook Off.  It’s an opportunity to celebrate everything we’ve got coming up and of course taste all of the delicious dishes!

After months of meticulously developing each dish, Chef Manoj takes centre stage to demonstrate to our teams how to perfect each dish, explaining how it has been carefully crafted from the best of this season’s ingredients and it’s our chance to taste the new menu for the first time!  As you’d expect with our 3 star Sustainable Restaurant Association accreditation, we work closely with our suppliers and producers to showcase the best of Autumn, so keep your eyes peeled for what we’ve got coming up for you soon!

The Cook Offs are clearly a great way to educate our teams and bring to life our seasonal menus, but they are also a fantastic opportunity for our team to get together, catch up and celebrate! It’s a brilliant example of the Heartwood Collection culture – all about togetherness, learning and developing and spending quality time together.

Now roll on the Autumn menu launch on 28^th September so our guests can taste these new tasty dishes for themselves!
